► (1284?-1344) Pintor italiano. Autor de frescos en Santa María Novella y en el palacio de la Señoría (Florencia).

Pintor italiano. Exponente del arte gótico, hizo esfuerzos por difundir la influencia de la pintura sienesa. Duccio di Buoninsegna influenció su uso de colores armónicos y puros, pero sus líneas graciosas y decorativas se inspiraron en el arte gótico francés, tal como se observa en su fresco de la Maestà (1314), el que presenta a la Virgen como una reina gótica presidiendo a los miembros de su corte bajo un palio gótico. Su retrato ecuestre de Guidoriccio da Fogliano (1328) constituyó un importante precedente para los retratos ecuestres del Renacimiento.
